Send me your SuperMoon shots, if you took any, and let me know what kind of camera and lens you were using.

2011.03.19 SuperMoon--It is for YOU
I am in Colorado; sometimes I'm not, but just now I am. (Change MDT to your time zone).
There will be a full moon for us tonight, and it's called a SuperMoon, because it will be as close to earth as it ever gets--closest in 25 years (gosh, I was 40 maybe, and I was single and living in the little rock house in Cedaredge with a 15-year Steve and 9-year-old Dzydzy). So tonight, the moon will appear bigger than normal by about 30%--probably a good night for strolling up Mt. Kilimanjaro. The moon will rise tonight about 6:20 (MDT). Since sunset is at 7:10 (MDT), it will still be light out. The moonrise might actually be more spectacular Sunday night, since it will rise then at 7:38 MDT, half an hour or so after sunset. The full moon actually will occur at 12:11 p.m. on Saturday, so the moon tonight and tomorrow night will be so close to full that you'd have to be an astronomer to tell the difference.

It's OURS, you know! We can name our Super Moon anything we want.
Love from Me (and I'll be back)

When I was in town yesterday, I bought a cheap 1/2 price snow saucer.
And then it snowed 10 inches last night.
And then I MADE d go sledding with the dogs and me. (He sure didn't want to go!)
He said that he had lots of fun!
